I’m writing this as a warning to anyone considering ordering from GlassesUSA. My recent shopping experience was beyond frustrating, and I feel compelled to share it so others can be aware of their business practices. To put it simply: they are dishonest, don't honor promos, and make it impossible to collect an offer when the site is full of glitches. There's no customer Service 24 hours, no agent. It's completely unprofessional. I tried to get a BOGO deal, but their site glitched out. After finally getting through, I had to have a conversation to try and fix their mistake.
Customer: Hi, I just placed an order but your website glitched and wouldn't apply the BOGO promotion. I need that fixed.
CS Rep: I'm very sorry to hear you experienced an issue with our website. I can certainly look into this. Can you provide the order number?
Customer: It’s [Order Number]. I expect a credit back to my card for the pair that should have been free. It's a simple solution.
CS Rep: Thank you. I see the order. Unfortunately, we can't issue a partial credit. To get the promotional price, you will need to return the glasses when they arrive and then place a new order.
Customer: You want me to return them, even though they're the correct style and prescription, just to reorder because your site failed? That makes no sense. Just credit me back.
CS Rep: I do understand your frustration, and I apologize, but that is the only process we have to apply the promotion. I can help you start the return once your package is delivered.
